I grew up listening to a lot of Motown. As a child, I would visit my Grandparents and sit cross-legged on the floor in front of a giant radio that was taller than me when I was standing. Sitting in front of that radio was my first introduction to music that I can recall and it was the first place I heard musicians like Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, and many more. That was where I fell in love with music.
The R&B/Motown style of music comes out in different variations in the songs I write which paves the way for a tune like this song, "Give In To You".
