What do you think about the song?

When I went to my producer with this song and I played for him the groove that went with the lyrics, his eyes got really big, which made me think that the storyline was a bit too much...this song was based on a news story I saw where a woman went a tad crazy when she found out her husband was having an affair...

Anyways, back to the story…
His response after hearing the song had nothing to do with the content. He asked if I had ever heard the song “House Burning Down” by Jimi Hendrix. I had not and after he played Jimi’s song for me, I couldn’t believe how similar the groove was to my song. That kind of blew me away!

I guess there was something in the air when I wrote this song.
